At first glance, I mistook this lip product for a liquid lipstick—its stunning packaging had me sold before I even read the details! Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on the Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain in shade 010 LA Exclusive. This product claims to offer the hydration of a balm, the shine of a gloss, and the pigmentation of a stain. I was intrigued by all three promises, but I had my doubts about the last one.

Initial Impressions

Having heard a lot of hype about this product, I decided to grab one for myself. However, my first swatch left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. I thought, "Sayang pera!" The pigmentation seemed lacking, and I felt like I had chosen the wrong shade yet again. The staining power was minimal, and I was beginning to wonder if I had made a mistake.

Performance Over Time

Despite my initial disappointment, after using it for a few months, I found the Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain to be a great choice for daily wear. Its lighter color, along with the moisture and hydration it provides, makes it a perfect everyday lip product. However, if you prefer a bold, impactful look, this might not be the product for you.

I often reach for this stain when I’m going for a super smokey eye look—it helps tone down the fierceness while keeping my lips hydrated. It's also my go-to for quick trips to the market.

Value for Money

I purchased it for ₱250, significantly lower than the original price of ₱625. Honestly, if I had paid full price, I wouldn’t consider it a worthwhile investment. 😅

Final Thoughts

Overall, I like the packaging and the hydration it offers, but do I love it? If Revlon continues to sell this for ₱250, I think it’s worth it.
