Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow

Image
The search for a long wearing makeup never stops. There are maybe hundreds of brands to choose from but only few can provide that amazing color pay off without fallout and that doubles as base too. Is it really a great product for 24 hours? Of course it is not recommendable to allow makeup to sit on the face for a day. I guess it's meant to last for 24 hours. The Maybelline tattoo eye shadow  is not the "new thing" in the makeup market. Despite the reviews and the great hype for years already, it was just few months ago that I purchased one. First, I have been used to eye powders for too long. Lastly, if I have to make it pigmented I will just apply an eye primer or eye pencil as base. Here is what Maybelline says about their product: “Dare to wear 24HR shadow. • Ink technology creates 24HR wear shadow for our most intense, long-lasting color saturation • Cream formula glides on without creasing and keeps color vibrant • Ophthalmologist-tested.  Safe for se...

Review: San San Eyeshadows

Image
Eye shadows give our eyes the transformation we desire. It may be bold , dramatic or attractive. When we care about how our eyes will look, these cosmetics are highly essential. As for me, I'm an eye makeup person. I would always go for an extreme eye makeup look and leave my cheeks without blush and my lips in nude.  The eye palette Sleek in Storm is one of my favorites. The eye shadows are pigmented. I can wear them without applying eye primer. Sadly, I'm already hitting the pan for brown/es. With that, i needed to find a back up. I browsed online and saw San San eye shadows so I gave it a try.   I bought two eye shadows. The shades are in Natural Air Sienna and Charcoal Brown. I only bought two since I wanted to try it first before buying the rest of the crew.  They are sold at HBC for P 50. The matte one is somehow creamy. You know how  fall outs  disappoint us with all the colored powder all over our face right? The gl...

EOTD: Watermelon Inspired Look

Image
I label myself cursed whenever i suffer my quarterly eye infection. My eyes are very vulnerable to dust and accidental scratches. The problem is, only one eye gets to be infected. In order to make the whole swollen look even, i did a reddish eye makeup. Excuse my eyeliner. :p I don't usually care if i did it wrong or not.  I always do it  like there's no much time left. 1. Apply a Primer over the eyes followed by Pink eye shadow over your lid. 2. Next, Apply a darker shade of Pink through your crease 3. Lastly,  Apply a deep dark brown   onto the outer corner and BLEND. 4. Line the top lash line 5. Apply Mascara

EOTD: Purplish

Well, i am not a fan of the purple color. I just tried out my ELF palette. 1. Apply a plum color over the lid 2. Apply a brown color through the crease and blend it out 3. Apply a bright purple on the inner half of your eye lid and on your bottom lash line. 4. B rush a darker shade on the outer half of your eyelid. 5. Line your waterline with black liner 6. Apply liquid liner and mascara You might be wondering why too many colors? It's because i wanted  the look a bit more dramatic with all the smokey brown as base.

EOTD: Soft Golden Look

At times, i wanted to look simply elegant even in a simple top and jeans. Here's what i did for my eye-look. 1. First prime your eyes and then Apply a Gold shimmery eye shadow over the lid. 2. Next, Apply a shimmery bronze eye shadow through the crease. 3. Blend! 4.Lastly, Apply eyeliner at the top lash and put on Mascara . Actually, i don't like applying primer or intensifying the color of my eye makeup when going out. Just on special or important meetings and events. That's it :)

It was a really cool experience to sit in front of a large mirror with loads of makeup and brush placed at the table - A practice studio for a rising makeup artist. Well, I was not the one enrolled at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines but Engr.Tablan, alumni from our school MIT. I just did a favor of modelling for him. Anyways, his 3 rd meeting out of 8 for the course. :) I really wished i participated on the second one. Phil. Fashion week got in the way. :(  Hello to his Suesh brush set His traincase :) Applying Mac foundation in shade NC 35 Blues . Mac does it. My face looks glowing. I am not sure if this is medium or full coverage but it does a great job holding everything into place. Ate Iska on Neutral and in Fanny Serrano two way cake. Anyway, this is my second look (classic smokey). The Final Looks.  Classic Smokey Look What do you think?
