Suesh Haul: Individual Pots+ wild peach palette

Image
Makeup artists are encouraged to own at least 5 shades of foundation plus the different shades of lipstick, blush, concealer, etc. That's a lot of product and definitely space consuming. For some, including me, who isn't full time in this career, buying in bottles of different shade isn't economical.  I don't usually encounter clients with dark skin so I have bottles of unused Revlon color stay  in dark shades. It's recently that I came across with Suesh' s Create-your-own palette. I tried searching for any reviews in the blog sphere, but there's not much. I ended up buying  Suesh  individual pots for test. . I bought 12 items, 4 of which is foundation, 3 lipsticks, 1 concealer, 2 blushes, and 2 eye shadows. The prices are as follows: Foundation - P125 Lipstick - P100 Concealer - P105 Blush - P 100 Eyeshadow -P 95 They're in pots so I bought a wild peach palette at Lavish Lashes Studio for...

Review: Ever Bilena Lip pencils and eye pencil

Image
Today's the official start of my vacation. No more exams nor deadlines. Finally, I could spend some time blogging. To start, i'll be showing you my new favorites. These are pencils from the brand Ever Bilena . I bought an ever bilena lip pencil before but in different packaging and much cheaper. Additionally, it's more dry than the new ones. On the other hand, I also bought an eye pencil in white. P 100 for a 12 cm pencil Shades in Cappuccino, Burgundy and white Swatches The products are pigmented. I love how they look when worn. The colors are strong. You could actually apply one alone without lipstick. In addition, for dry lips like mine, I apply first  Carmex Lip moisturi zer. With that, it would give an easier application.  Here's a photo of model Mharyel wearing a lip liner in Cappuccino followed by Ever bilena lipstick in Mauvey (shade of brown) . -End-  Thank you for reading :">

Review: Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick

Image
Matte lipsticks definitely look great in pictures.  The most hyped brand of matte lipsticks in the local market is the Ever Bilena .  It comes in 14 shades. I wonder why the brand has two sets of packaging. The latest shades that I bought are in Magenta and Mauvey. Sells for   P155. Swatches .  In terms of quality, the lipsticks are pigmented even the nude ones. Also,  I love how matte they are.  What I do not like about the product is that it doesn't glide smoothly. One should apply a lip moisturizer or lip balm first. (As for me, I apply my Carmex soothing lip balm ) Furthermore, on how this lasts, it doesn't stay long. It gets wiped out with eating. I recommend the use of lip liner to make the lipstick lasts longer. Another thing, the lipstick has P araben . Paraben may contribute to hormonal imbalance in females. I don't know if I'll purchase some more, but I am researching on other great performing matte lip...

REVIEW: L.A Matte Lipsticks

Image
L.A GIRL LIPSTICK (P99). Before i went home to my province (Zambales), i decided to get two more lipsticks from L.A Girl. I know they are still on sale and it is the last week. So here i bought the shades of Pink Perfection and Crimson respectively. Pink Perfection Crimson SWATCH IT! Add on: Brandy From Left: Pink Perfection, Crimson and Brandy As you can see, crimson appears to be coral in the packaging. After application, it's a deep pink. I think i like it better than the rest of the l.a lippies that i have.  As mentioned in my recent lipstick review, i really love the color. It is very pigmented. Also, it is cheap for P99 which is sale from P219. For the cons please check out my first post.  http://jameilab.blogspot.com/2012/03/review-la-girl-matte.html   Wearing Pink Perfection
