L'Oreal True Match Blur Cream: The Primer You Need for Long-Wearing Makeup

Image
Navigating the unpredictable Philippine weather can be a challenge, especially for those of us who spend hours outdoors, inspecting projects and plants. With the heat rising and sudden downpours, it’s essential to find makeup products that can withstand the elements. Today, I’m excited to share my experience with L'Oreal True Match Blur Cream , a primer that promises to give you that flawless, photoshopped look. Packaging L'Oreal True Match Blur Cream comes in a 25-ml squeeze tube with a screw-on cap. While the lightweight and sturdy packaging is travel-friendly, the narrow nozzle can dispense too much product if you're not careful. For this reason, it’s best to squeeze gently to avoid wasting product. This product is said to give you that photoshop-ed look Coverage and Consistency One of the standout features of this primer is its tinted formula . At first glance, you might wonder if it’s a tinted moisturizer. However, with its silicone-based textu...

Review: Suesh Hi-Def Foundation Pots

Image
Final's week is over! (*Screams " One week vacation here I come !") Graduation is more visible and I can smell more makeup post  for the next term. Sweet huh?  Today's product review is on  Suesh Hi-Def Foundation in pots . I posted a haul weeks ago and it is only today that I managed to make a review. Again, they're in pots, meaning you can't just throw away the plastic container and place them inside your makeup bag. It will really be dirty down there, scraping the product out. Since I got myself a wild peach   magnettic palette, I placed them there together with the other pots of lipstick, concealer and eyeshadows. In t his way, I'm actually customizing. Nobody wants to waste money on a palette wherein you won't be using everything in it. Right? Net weight: 22 g At the back, you will find the ingredients. For the coverage, I must say that it is creamy, thick and the finish is dewy. It offers heavy coverage, but m...

Finals week is finally over! ( Screams "One week vacation here I come!" ) 🎉 Graduation is right around the corner, and I can already smell all the makeup posts lined up for the next term. Sweet, huh? Today, I’m excited to review the Suesh Hi-Def Foundation in pots. I teased this product in a haul a few weeks ago, and I'm thrilled to share my thoughts with you now! Packaging and Customization The Suesh Hi-Def Foundation comes in sturdy pots, which means you can’t just toss them into your makeup bag without some forethought. If you do, expect a mess as you scrape out the product! To keep things organized, I placed them in my wild peach magnetic palette alongside other pots of lipstick, concealer, and eyeshadows. This way, I’m customizing my palette to suit my needs. Nobody wants to waste money on a palette full of products they won't use, right? Net Weight : 22 g Ingredients On the back of the pot, you’ll find a detailed list of ingredients, which is always ...

Review: TNC Cream Foundation

Image
Summer is definitely the season where I lock myself in my room and wish there is number 7 on the fan. This scorching heat is killing me. I cannot simply risk going out and be sweaty with ruined foundation on my face.  The problem is, all of my foundations are all medium to full coverage.  Using them during this summer with more than 35 degree Celsius is a bad idea. I love the whole look, but it gives me the feeling of wearing a washable cement. It's a face battle between sweat and makeup on who stays. With all this vanity problem, I have to look for another product that is skin breathable.  I  opted for TNC cream foundation with SPF 15.  The cream foundation comes in two shades. One is old rose (Pink undertone) and the other is peach (Yellow Undertone).  TNC is a beauty shop in Olongapo City near YBC super market. For the swatches,  I hope you could see the difference. They did a great job blending on the sk...

Tekno Rampa 2014: Peacock inspired

Our school annually conducts Tekno Rampa . It is a competition of clothes made up of recyclable materials. It sounds like a boring runway for the environmentalist, but no. It has a theme and the outfit totally rocks!  Well, I got hired to do makeup for PICHE (Philippine Institute  of Chemical Engineers-MIT chapter) representative.  For the Makeup, Products Used: Revlon Colorstay Foundation Fanny Serrano Concealer Krave Blush Krave Loose powder ELF Blush and Contour Ever Bilena Pencils Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk ELF 100 Palette Sleek Storm Palette  -End-  Thank you for reading :">

Suesh Haul: Individual Pots+ wild peach palette

Image
Makeup artists are encouraged to own at least 5 shades of foundation plus the different shades of lipstick, blush, concealer, etc. That's a lot of product and definitely space consuming. For some, including me, who isn't full time in this career, buying in bottles of different shade isn't economical.  I don't usually encounter clients with dark skin so I have bottles of unused Revlon color stay  in dark shades. It's recently that I came across with Suesh' s Create-your-own palette. I tried searching for any reviews in the blog sphere, but there's not much. I ended up buying  Suesh  individual pots for test. . I bought 12 items, 4 of which is foundation, 3 lipsticks, 1 concealer, 2 blushes, and 2 eye shadows. The prices are as follows: Foundation - P125 Lipstick - P100 Concealer - P105 Blush - P 100 Eyeshadow -P 95 They're in pots so I bought a wild peach palette at Lavish Lashes Studio for...

EOTD: Love Month Look 2

Image
Yesterday that was Valentine's day, I decided to wear something red so I opted for my dress from Zoie's Closet III . I matched it with a pinkish eye makeup and curled my hair. Guess what? I ended up looking like I got a date. My classmates were actually asking if I'm going out with someone after class and I gave them huge eyes for a no. I have been single for a long time and I'm loving it! :) For the whole look, see the photo below. For the Photo Tutorial,  Prime! As always, I used my ELF eyelid primer. Like my first love month look, I went first for the chocolate eye shadow. Using a bullet brush, I applied it through the crease. I then applied a pink eye shadow with shimmers all over the eyelid. For the lower lash line, I applied a shimmery red color.  To intensify the eye makeup, I applied a black eye shadow at the outer corner of the eye. I blended everything with a coral color. Afterwards, I put my eyeliner ...

EOTD: Earth inspired

Image
Starting next week, I would be extremely busy. My thesis and reactor design defense are scheduled a week from now. The bad news is that I haven't started doing it all yet. Because I am anticipating that this would mean no blogging for me, I would post an EOTD today. This one is earth inspired. I already made a water inspired look so I guess one could guess the next look. For the Photo Tutorial Prime the eyes. Apply a green shimmery eye shadow all over the lid. Apply a brown earthy color all over the crease (the area above the eye fold). Here, I used a light brown but I think it would look best with a darker one. I am a fan of sharp winged eye makeup which is sort of obvious. All the EOTD I made, as far as I am concern, were all sharp winged. Moving on, place a tape outside the corner of the eye. At the outer corner, apply a black eye shadow. Blend. Curl your eyelashes and apply mascara and eyeliner. For a fierce look, I applied the eye...
