EOTD: Love Month Look 2

Image
Yesterday that was Valentine's day, I decided to wear something red so I opted for my dress from Zoie's Closet III . I matched it with a pinkish eye makeup and curled my hair. Guess what? I ended up looking like I got a date. My classmates were actually asking if I'm going out with someone after class and I gave them huge eyes for a no. I have been single for a long time and I'm loving it! :) For the whole look, see the photo below. For the Photo Tutorial,  Prime! As always, I used my ELF eyelid primer. Like my first love month look, I went first for the chocolate eye shadow. Using a bullet brush, I applied it through the crease. I then applied a pink eye shadow with shimmers all over the eyelid. For the lower lash line, I applied a shimmery red color.  To intensify the eye makeup, I applied a black eye shadow at the outer corner of the eye. I blended everything with a coral color. Afterwards, I put my eyeliner ...

EOTD: Love Month Look 1

Image
Valentine's Day is over but dating wouldn't stop. February is known as the love month and some would make sure they get to date someone either before or after the popular February 14. For those who would love to get a simple and elegant look with a touch of peach/pink for a post Valentine's date, try this look. Believe me, it's pretty attracting.  For the Look For the Photo Tutorial First, Prime! Here I used my ELF eyelid primer. Secondly, I Applied a matte chocolate/brown eye shadow through the crease. For the eye shadows, i used my sleek palette in storm.  Afterwards, I Added some shimmery brown color near the outer V of the eye. I Applied the same color at my lower lash line. From the inner corner of the eye, I slowly tapped some gold eye shadow to the middle of the eyelid.  Next, I made the whole look dramatic by adding black/es at the outer corner of the eye. Blend the color towards the middle of the crease. Blend with a peach/pink col...

Review: San San Eyeshadows

Image
Eye shadows give our eyes the transformation we desire. It may be bold , dramatic or attractive. When we care about how our eyes will look, these cosmetics are highly essential. As for me, I'm an eye makeup person. I would always go for an extreme eye makeup look and leave my cheeks without blush and my lips in nude.  The eye palette Sleek in Storm is one of my favorites. The eye shadows are pigmented. I can wear them without applying eye primer. Sadly, I'm already hitting the pan for brown/es. With that, i needed to find a back up. I browsed online and saw San San eye shadows so I gave it a try.   I bought two eye shadows. The shades are in Natural Air Sienna and Charcoal Brown. I only bought two since I wanted to try it first before buying the rest of the crew.  They are sold at HBC for P 50. The matte one is somehow creamy. You know how  fall outs  disappoint us with all the colored powder all over our face right? The gl...

EOTD: Sparkling Purple and yellow

Image
Hello girls! I'm miraculously back after a few days. Today I'll be sharing you the look I made on my eye for our August photo shoot (as I mentioned in my previous post. LINK ). I wanted the whole look to be dramatic, edgy yet classic so I initially started with a smokey look. After, I put some twist with sparkling purple and yellow. For the Look For the Photo Tutorial Prime! Here I used my ELF eyelid primer. Afterwards, apply a black gel liner or eyeliner pencil all over the lid. In this look, I used Fanny Seranno gel liner in black Using a large eye shadow brush, I blended the black color along the crease. This method is how we get a smokey look. At the inner corner of the eye going to the mid of the crease, I applied a purple eye shadow. I also applied some at the outer half of the lower lash line. Afterwards, using a black eyeliner pencil, I drew a line at the upper lash line giving the eye makeup a stronger look. Apply some glitte...

EOTD: Earth inspired

Image
Starting next week, I would be extremely busy. My thesis and reactor design defense are scheduled a week from now. The bad news is that I haven't started doing it all yet. Because I am anticipating that this would mean no blogging for me, I would post an EOTD today. This one is earth inspired. I already made a water inspired look so I guess one could guess the next look. For the Photo Tutorial Prime the eyes. Apply a green shimmery eye shadow all over the lid. Apply a brown earthy color all over the crease (the area above the eye fold). Here, I used a light brown but I think it would look best with a darker one. I am a fan of sharp winged eye makeup which is sort of obvious. All the EOTD I made, as far as I am concern, were all sharp winged. Moving on, place a tape outside the corner of the eye. At the outer corner, apply a black eye shadow. Blend. Curl your eyelashes and apply mascara and eyeliner. For a fierce look, I applied the eye...

EOTD: Water Inspired

Image
Hi I'm back with an EOTD :) Today, I did a water inspired  eye look because I had not made any that has blue as a principal color. Well, if I did one perhaps it is mixed with other colors (I really don't remember the eye looks I made. My memory is seriously deteriorated).  The photo below is the final look. For the photo tutorial Start by priming your eyes. Here, I used my ELF eyelid primer . After, I applied a light blue eye shadow all over the lid. It's up to you if you want it matte or shimmer. Next, I placed a tape to make a sharp edge for the eye look. I then applied a shimmery blue eye shadow all over the crease (the area above the fold). At the outer corner of the eye, I applied a matte dark blue eye shadow. I also applied some of the dark blue eye shadow at the lower lash line. To finish the look, I used my FS mascar a, Ever bilena eye liner (for waterline) and SanSan Eyeliner in black.  I hope you like it! :) ...

Review: Nutrimetics Cheek and Eye Palette

Image
My tita from Australia paid us a visit. She gave me a Nutrimetics cheek and eye palette.   I really don't have any idea about the product. I never heard of the brand. I tried searching for any review in the internet but didn't find any. One thing I'm sure about it, it isn't available here in the Philippines. The product looks pricey to me. I searched the internet and I saw it in ebay sold for   $39.95 .  The packaging is hard and somewhat heavy (for a palette).  It is comprised of 15 shimmery eye shadows, 2 blushes, a mirror and applicators.  At first I was very hesitant to use the product because of the shimmers. At school, I prefer wearing matte colors. Since the colors here are very lovely, I managed to come up with a shimmery eye look that I can tolerate. You can observe that this product is pigmented, that is if you use your finger and a sponge applicator. It's hard to pick up with a brush. The product should be ...
