Review: San San HD Concealer

Image
In my previous post, I mentioned San San HD (High Definition) concealer in Beige. You might be wondering why I bought a shade darker than my foundation. Well, it's not really darker. Beige is more yellow. The shade natural highlights my dark circles and I don't like that. I think it will work great if I correct my circles first. Product description Excellent coverage for skin imperfections Formulated with vitamins A, C, E & SPF 15 for a healthier and naturally radiant skin. With high precision applicator to achieve a picture perfect look. P95 It looks like L.A girl pro concealer but this one is retractable. Like the San San HD Foundation, this one is also creamy. It's better that you use your fingers.  The product is thick. It has huge tendency to cake so better that you use your fingers. Don't wipe it out. Tap in the concealer using your fingertips onto the skin until it blends. Based from the photo above, the sha...

Review: San San HD Foundation

San San's new line of HD (High definition) cosmetics is a sure hit. I have seen a lot of reviews and demos within a month. I have been using the San San Matte finish liquid foundation and I just can't help not to try its improved version. I bought the San San HD liquid foundation in shade natural and San San Concealer in shade beige.  They only have three shades. The lightest is natural followed by beige and lastly olive. P195 Product description Excellent coverage for skin imperfections Formulated with vitamins A, C, E & SPF 30 for a healthier and naturally radiant skin. Oil free liquid foundation. Blends superbly with any color cosmetics for a picture perfect look. The foundation is in a glass bottle with pump. Hooray! No more messy spills.  The product is creamy. You have to smooth it out to achieve a more natural look. In my case, I use my fingers (See before-after photo below). Take note that its build-able so y...

Review: San San Age Defense 2 Way Cake

Image
Today's weather is bad. The wind is strong and it's definitely dark. Despite the bad look and media warnings, I'm still thinking of going out because we have a church service by 7:30 pm. There's Saturday and Sunday services however I fear that this whole bad weather will be worst by tomorrow. With that, I really wanted to push the idea of attending later. #Bad typhoon Yolanda Moving on, I use my San San Age Defense 2 Way Cake in 02 whenever the sky is dark or it's rainy. Originally, I bought this product to serve as my daily foundation. Unfortunately, when I read at the packaging " Caution: This product contains an alpha hyroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn "  I was like " I should have read the description of the product first before buying it ". Why would I use a product that would cause me sunburn?  To give my money justice, this one is definitely going to b...

Review: San San Eyeshadows

Image
Eye shadows give our eyes the transformation we desire. It may be bold , dramatic or attractive. When we care about how our eyes will look, these cosmetics are highly essential. As for me, I'm an eye makeup person. I would always go for an extreme eye makeup look and leave my cheeks without blush and my lips in nude.  The eye palette Sleek in Storm is one of my favorites. The eye shadows are pigmented. I can wear them without applying eye primer. Sadly, I'm already hitting the pan for brown/es. With that, i needed to find a back up. I browsed online and saw San San eye shadows so I gave it a try.   I bought two eye shadows. The shades are in Natural Air Sienna and Charcoal Brown. I only bought two since I wanted to try it first before buying the rest of the crew.  They are sold at HBC for P 50. The matte one is somehow creamy. You know how  fall outs  disappoint us with all the colored powder all over our face right? The gl...

Haul: Robinsons Ermita

Image
At first, I thought I could not blog because of academics and extra curricular activities. I then realized that I'm easily distracted by things ( Computer games and phone games ) during break time. Instead of editing photos, I either play or sleep. Well, I guess when it comes to prioritizing, I'm not good. Anyway, Zielah's back on business! The online shop I collaborated with before. Since we are going to start promoting and advertising again, I bought some makeup. For my haul, HBC has a stall inside Robinson Ermita. It is located near the National Bookstore. I bought some of their natural falsies. The lashes are sold for 20.75 php each. On another note, I actually planned to buy their eyelash glue but it isn't available so I settled for Aido Eye Putti glue. Fanny Serrano refills in Organza and Duchess. Sold for P299. Ever Bilena Matte Lipsticks in Mauvey and Magenta. Sells for 155 php each. Ever Bilena eyeliners in black and brown ...

Review: San San Matte Foundation

Image
Since I wanted to find a cheap but quality foundation, I opted for San San Matte foundation.A lot of bloggers gave this product a hype. With that, I wanted to try it out it to check if it is really long wearing. Well, I have been doing makeup and tried them already to a set of girls. You see, it is really hard to tell whether a product is good or not if you get to try it only to yourself.  I got three shades out of 4.  The shade identification is in number. I got 1,2 and 4. Actually, shades 2 and 3 are very hard to find. They're always out of stock. I went to quiapo and robinsons ermita but they were all  out.  This foundation has no pump but instead it has a spatula. It is very unhygienic to always open the cap and expose the product inside. What do you expect for a product at P132?  From right to left: shades 1,2 and 4. This product is very thick. I suggest you get the right shade because if not, you'll look like you'r...

HBC Haul: November

Image
I have been searching for a foundation that will best suit Filipina skin. To add, a product that can withstand heat and will stick on the face. Well, I have been reading blogs and majority were giving a positive feedback on HBC's matte foundation. That explains me buying three shades of the said product for testing. P100 Will post a product review soon :)

REVIEW: HBC false eyeslashes and glue

Image
The first time i used false eyelashes was at FIP (Fashion Institute of the Philippines). The first time that it was me who put it was last month. The thing is, i did not blogged about it because it was fail. I was thinking if the lashes were too thin or the glue was not that sticky.  After some practice, i just learned that the glue i was using was just too messy and not that sticky. It was like the normal school supply glue that you can easily remove by pulling. Nichido P60 . According to the sales lady, it's good for 5 uses. By the way, it is as small as a pen cap. I don't like this because it's messy. It is like a liquid eyeliner which you apply using its tip applicator.  See what i mean? I kept on applying the glue but it just won't  stick. I don't know if  others found this product great  or i just did it wrong? HBC False Eyeslashes P20.75. These lashes were the ones i used in the 6th and 7th photo shoots.   I can work wit...
