Soap for the T-Zone: My Unexpected Journey to Clearer Skin! ๐Ÿงผ✨

Since I’ve been using more makeup lately, I’ve found myself battling an unexpected issue—pimples! ๐Ÿ˜ฉ This is largely due to excess oil getting trapped in my pores, and with the number of products I use, it’s become a bit overwhelming. Despite my nighttime routine of four cleansing products, the pimples just keep coming!

The Importance of Prevention

“Learn how to prevent acne in the first place, so that you stop that next monster pimple before it even starts.” This quote really resonated with me as I searched for a solution.

Initially, I used Clean and Clear Pimple Control, but when I ran out, I rushed to SM to repurchase it. That’s when I stumbled upon a soap specifically designed for the T-zone. It caught my attention right away!

  • Price: ₱80 for a small bar

While it’s a bit pricey for a small soap, it’s still cheaper than many dermatologist-prescribed products.

Packaging and Design

The packaging is super cute! The soap comes wrapped in a brown paper, and when you unwrap it, you’ll find another thin white wrapper. I guess the extra wrapping is meant to keep the soap in good condition, but it did seem a bit excessive.

Caution: Irritation Warning

One unfortunate incident occurred when I accidentally got some soap in my eye. It was seriously painful, and I had to pour liters of water to flush it out! This definitely made me realize that the soap might contain some strong chemicals. Additionally, the scent is quite unusual, which may not be for everyone.

Results

Despite the initial hiccup, I’m thrilled to report that after just four days of using this soap, it has proven to be 101% effective! I genuinely did not expect such great results. If I had known, I would have documented my progress with photos from day one! As of today, my pimple is in the healing stage—it’s now just a mark.

Final Thoughts

Four days of awesomeness with this soap deserves a thumbs up! ๐Ÿ‘ If you’re looking for a product that targets excess oil and helps clear up breakouts, this soap might be worth trying. Just be cautious with how you apply it, especially around sensitive areas!

Thank you for reading! Have you tried any specialized soaps for acne-prone skin? I’d love to hear your experiences in the comments! ๐Ÿ’–

    1. Is that soap is safe to use as my age of 17?going to 18?

  2. Personally, I think it is safe to use as long as your skin isn't sensitive. For those who have acidic or sensitive skin, it is always recommended to ask a dermatologist before trying out any product you saw here in the internet. :) I hope that helps

  4. Are you sure? You bought it for P80? The one that has a smaller size than a usual soap? I bought it on mercury drugstore for only P32.

  5. @Marivic Honestly, I don't have any idea on the "perfect direction to use". Conversely, the use of strong soaps should depend on your skin type.

@Adhara. Yep I bought it for 80 (100 grams) :( Will check again. Thank you

  8. I'm using this Defensil Soap combi with Kojic Soap of the same brand (Kojie San).. effective... Then I would recommend if you are suffering from breakouts do an oral treatment too, I'm taking Rosy Peel capsule per day. 22 pesos per cap. nga lang. Pero it works wonders. Pampaputi siya pero okay din sa mga may acne or pimples. Kasi khit gaano pa karame ang ilagay sa muka wa epek din..

  10. Hi there! :) I believe this soap is safe to use. However, as much as possible, it is not recommendable for pregnant women to apply chemically made products. Best to go for organic as of now, Do use calamansi. It works too.
